The uniform is a key part of the Scouting Program. The uniform sets us apart and should be worn with pride. Pack 535 wants it to be just that - uniform. Pack 535 wears the Uniform from the "Waist Up". Scouts are expected to wear the uniform with pride at all times. Uniforms should be clean and neat. Uniform shirts should be tucked in. Scouts should wear closed tennis shoes or hiking boots, no open toed/backless footwar (this is also a safety measure). Official Scout pants/shorts are optional, but Scouts should always wear pants/shorts WITH belt loops, no athletic shorts/pants or elastic waist shorts/pants without belt loops. Each Scout is expected to obtain a uniform as quickly as possible after joining. See www.bsauniforms.org for more details on Class A uniforms.
